Genny currently teaches voice and piano lessons both online and in-person to a variety of students of all ages and ability levels. She also serves as Music Director for New Haven Academy of Performing Arts in East Haven, Connecticut, where she has served as MD for over 30 musicals and cabarets. Her students range from beginners to professionals and can be found playing in their school bands and singing on national tours of musicals! Performer

Genny performs as a part of many vocal ensembles in a variety of genres. She sings with the Cathedral of St. Joseph Schola Cantorum and Voce Inc., both located in Hartford, Connecticut. She is also a founding member of the a capella group "Uprising", who competed in the Chicago Harmony Sweepstakes 2022! She has also served as Music Director/Vocal Director for over 30 shows and cabarets!

Scholar

Genevieve Clements holds a Master of Music degree in Music Theatre Vocal Pedagogy from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She also graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice Performance from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. Genny is also an accredited teacher of voice through IVTOM, the International Voice Teachers of Mix, as well as having studied Estill Voice Training. She is currently seeking publication for her research on the sociolinguistic effects of English language accents on characterization in musical theatre.
