Affectionately known as "Miss Genny" to her younger students, Genevieve Clements teaches piano and voice lessons to all ages and ability levels at the following studios:

Lessons with Genny can be done in-person or online and can focus on a wide range of musical genres such as Pop, Rock, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Classical, and more! They can also focus on Speech, Music Theory, or Acting! Genny also offers Performance/Audition coaching!

Music Director

Genny has served as a music director/vocal director/arranger to over 25 cabarets and musicals in the past 5 years! Some of her favorites have included:

  • Mamma Mia (2021)

  • Sister Act (2021)

  • Legally Blonde Jr. (2019)

  • Elf Jr. (2018)

  • Christmas Spectacular Cabarets in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020!

She also serves as resident Music Director for Broadway on Main, a non-profit theatre company in East Haven, CT.

Performer

Genny frequently performs as a singer, actor, and pianist in cabarets and theatrical productions. She has a diverse vocal repertoire consisting of Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Classical, and other genres. To book her as a performer or music director for your event, click Below!

Choral Singer

Genevieve Clements has a great love of choral repertoire, particularly early music and newly composed works. She has been a member of multiple professional choir, including Voce, Inc., New England's Chamber Choir. She is currently a member of the Schola Cantorum, the Cathedral of St. Joseph's resident professional choral ensemble. She has also served as a cantor and soloist for various church services and choirs around New England.

Lecturer

Genny gives lectures on a diverse array of subjects relating to music and/or theatre. She recently served on the music faculty at Carthage College, teaching courses such as Music Theatre History, Class Voice, and Studio Voice. Genny also recently gave a lecture recital on the sociolinguistic effects of English-language accents on characterization in music theatre.
